The rucksack makes up the third of the "Big Three" and the weight lost by using a lightweight pack can be amazing.

Only after selecting a tent and a sleeping bag and deciding what else you need to carry should you start looking for a backpack. As only then will you have any idea of the size of backpack that you need.
