However, it represents a place where you can make massive weight savings, with some lightweight down sleeping bags being over a kilogram lighter than a synthetic bag of a similar rating.
Any sleeping bag that weighs under 700g could be called lightweight, but as the warmth offered by down sleeping bags is much greater than synthetic bags, all bags in this list are down.
